The last day in the wilderness

WIAdmin, 17. Juli 2016

WB-0106Today we were in the “Land of the phantom flowers”, the parcel of land in the Toba Valley that Wilderness International is protecting. To see with my own eyes what we and many other students have been running for was unbelievable. The beauty is simply indescribable. We paddled almost down to the ocean and could watch humpback whales and orcas. In addition, we celebrated Kai’s birthday. Nevertheless we are all a bit sad that tonight will be our last night in the wilderness.

After two adventurous weeks in the wilderness we have just arrived in our hostel in Vancouver and at this late hour we will begin to find something fresh to eat. Tomorrow we will pass on our complete blog entries (we have full reception again!)

Have a great day!
